Series: “Ancient Temples in the Round”
This series of collages depict archeological structures and architectural features transformed into abstract mandala-like compositions.
The structures are ancient temples of the old world, unique to their locations and different origins that been created by different cultures.
The photographing started at the site of Hindu-Buddhist temples in Cambodia’s “Angkor area”.
Second locations are in North and south of Israel. Two ancient temples
Presented as archeologic sites.
After editing and composing the visual material, the resulting round images are printed on a brushed metal surface.
Handmade drawings by the Artist add another layer to these metallic prints, which are finally coated in “Liquid Gloss” finish.
